Creative Absinthe 2017–2018
Creative Absinthe examines emotional distance within shared space. Through staged self-portraits, the series explores how two individuals can inhabit the same environment while experiencing radically different inner realities.
The separation of frames becomes a visual metaphor for invisible psychological boundaries. Daily gestures — often banal — gradually reveal tension, irony, and existential fracture.
Time functions both as structure and rupture. The work suggests that shared experience does not necessarily produce intimacy; instead, proximity may intensify solitude. The project was selected for StartPoint Prize.
